Responsibilities

Mad Monkey Vang Vieng is hiring

3 – Bar & Restaurant Service Positions Fulltime and Part Time

Responsibilities:

● Welcoming guests and presenting themwith a menu in a friendly and timely manner

● Informing guests about special items andmenu changes / availability

● Assisting guests withrecommendations, taking into consideration their preferences and our mostprofitable items

● Accurately note food and beverageorders using the provided order slips, relaying them to the kitchen and/or barand entering them into the POS

● Consistent quality in preparation ofdrinks

● Setting up the table with the correctcutlery and condiments pertaining the guests order

● Delivering the ordered items in atimely manner

● Checking with customers to make surethey are enjoying their meal and taking appropriate action to correct anyproblems

● Checking with customers if they havefinished their meal and clean / remove dishes

● Accurately prepare, collect, andcontrol bills and customer payments

● Maintain consistent and excellentstandard of cleanliness in all aspects of the restaurant

○ Perform regular cleaning duties

● Performing regular control andmaintenance of Mise-en-place for smooth operation

○ Table set up

○ Cutlery and napkins

○ Items for drink preparation

○ Condiments

● Consistent cleaning and polishing ofglasses and teapots

● Handing over shift in a clean,completed, and organized manner

● Be informed about the menu items andtheir ingredients and preparation times

● Maintain and replenish stock levelsby placing timely orders

○ Front and back of house

● Maintain personal hygiene andgrooming standards

● Ability to deal with and correctlyrespond to customer complaints

● Must attend all scheduled trainingand development sessions

● Follow and apply procedures, lessons,and information learned during training

● Collect reviews and likes forFacebook and TripAdvisor

Requirements:

● Basic level and understanding ofEnglish

● Friendly, fun, and helpful attitudetowards customers and employees

● Ability to work individually as wellas in a team

● Eager to learn and develop personaland professional skills

● Maintain proper attitude and ethictowards all guests and employees

● Ability to work at fast pace duringpeak hours

● Cultural understanding andflexibility in dealing with people from other cultures

● Student from hospitality are encouraged

● Fresh graduated is welcome
