Job description
Background
Towards Climate-Resilient Inclusive WASH Services in Rural Lao PDR aims to strengthen the capacity of local governments and private sector actors to support adaptation and integrate climate change resilience within inclusive, area-wide rural WASH services and systems in the districts of Atsaphone, Champhone and Phalanxay in Savannakhet Province
Internship benefits:
Interns will be working at SNV office in Vientiane capital and will be offered monthly salary based on their capacity aligning with SNV policy, daily allowance when traveling to work in remote provinces. Additionally, he/she will be fully involved with the project development and receive opportunity in expanding their network in the area of development sector.
Timeframe
The intern will be contracted to the project up to six months (February 2024 – July 2024). And there is potential for extension based on the project budget and performance.
Responsibilities
Intern roles and responsibilities
- Support the project team to collate project data and prepare reports
- Support project field activities as required
- Conduct desk and stakeholder research
- Perform data analysis, and present the finding to project team,
- Perform other duties as may be requested by project supervisor.
Job requirements
Qualifications and skills required:
- Post graduated bachelor’s degree in the related field of Environmental, Health or Business
- Familiar with Microsoft affiliate software e.g., Words, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to conduct interview with the communities and record related information.
- Ability communicate in English (speaking, writing, reading) is essential
- Dedicated to the learn new knowledge and exploring self-potential for future development.
- Ability to travel to project location in Savannakhet occasionally essential
