Job description

The CliPAD/I-GFLL Project (“Climate Protection through Avoided Deforestation” and Implementation of the Governance Forest Landscape and Livelihood Program”), a part of the Lao-German Cooperation and commissioned by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and financially supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), is currently seeking one (1) Intern in Vientiane Capital for a duration of 2 months.

Responsibilities

  • Support the supervisor to prepare and arrange all necessary training materials for conducting training in province for FPIC&VFAG district teams.
  • Support the supervisor to coordinate and follow up with provincial FPIC&VFAG advisors, other components advisors, counterparts coordinators in all necessary communications, issues, and progress of the project implementation. Especially, following up quarterly plan, VFAG fund reguest documents and others.  
  • Support the supervisor to monitor the progress of implementation in provincial, district and village level and report to supervisor.
  • Support supervisor to design project video and design the FPIC&VFAG monitoring format to apply 6 provinces.
  • Others related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Student or recent graduate in rural development, forestry, and environment management areas.
  • Very good skills in Microsoft 365 applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as business communication tools.
  • Good written and oral skills and communication in English.
  • Willingness to work in an international team to implement activities with the public and private sector in Lao PDR.
