Job description
The Transboundary Water Cooperation in the Lower Mekong Basin II in Asia (TWCII) Project as part of the Lao-German Cooperation and commissioned by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, is currently seeking one (1) Intern in Vientiane Capital for a duration of 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the preparation of the Project’s communication materials in line with GIZ Communication Strategies and Guidelines.
- Supporting on the design of suitable communication products’ templates/layouts in line with GIZ Corporate Design.
- Communicating with graphical design consultants.
- Providing editorial support for the Project’s communication materials.
- Assisting in managing the Project’s social media.
- Supporting the organization of meetings, photo and video documentation and editing.
- Performing other duties and tasks upon request of the Project team.
Job requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Student or recent graduate in Communications, Media, Graphical Design, Journalism, or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of Information Technology and other software applications (MS Office, social media, graphical design software).
- Photography and video skills are an advantage.
- Good written and oral skills and communication in English.
- Willingness to work in an international team to implement activities with the public and private sector in Lao PDR.
