Job description

The “Climate Protection through Avoided Deforestation and Implementation of the Governance, Forest Landscapes and Livelihoods (CliPAD/I-GFLL) Project” a part of the Lao-German Cooperation and commissioned by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and financially supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF)

Responsibilities

  • Support the supervisor and the agricultural advisor in Vientiane in the communication and coordination with project teams in six provinces including tasks such as documentation of meetings and following up on activities in the provinces.
  • Support the agricultural team in the preparation and organization of events in Vientiane and the six provinces including tasks such as preparation of workshop materials, preparation of event location and documentation of workshop results.
  • Support the supervisor and agricultural advisor in the knowledge management for the agricultural team.
  • Support the agricultural team in the development of new training and communication material.
  • Any other related tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job requirements

  • Student or recent graduate in agricultural rural development, environmental management, or similar fields.
  • Very good skill Microsoft 365 applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as business communication tools.
  • Very good written and oral skills and communication in English.
  • Willingness to work in an international team to implement activities with the public and private sector in Lao PDR.
  • Good team player.
